It's been over two years since I've updated my website.
Amazing how time flies when you're having fun!
Last year's Sawdust Art Festival was fun, profitable,
enlightening, hot, and inspiring!! We are already in the process
of getting ready for this year! So much to do, so little time...
Along with my collage and still lifes, I'm doing what I call
three dimensional collage:
'Peaceful Warriors'-- army men that I disarm and transform
with fabric, wire, feathers, and beads;
'Peace Charms'-- origami cranes with paper tassels;
and 'Urban Shaman Sticks'-- painted, collaged, embellished,
and imbued with good energy.
I've also begun experimenting with more surface texturing on
canvas and board, then layering on top of that.
